2 left
WooHoo! One more class down one more A. Only 2 classes left (for the first masters). With the way I muddled through school growing up I never thought I could be this close to straight A's.
12 weeks
I have made it to 12 weeks! The queasiness is getting a little better, all though it is still there. Which now, it's so little that it's okay. It let's me know that the little critter is alive and well.
Yesterday I spent a few hours shopping with my friend who is also pregnant. She is about 5 weeks ahead of me. We were on the quest for pants. We both are at the stage that our regular pants are working for us anymore. I did find one pair of maternity pants at Old Navy that are great! They have small stretchy panels on the sides, with tabs to tighten them up if needed. They are also really low, so they sit below the belly and they have a drawstring on the inside. And they are beige colored cargo pants so I can wear them to work. I was so excited to find something that fits! I also found a maternity bathing suit I am excited about! I knew I would need one for May when I go to Vegas, so I was excited to find it!
The things I crave are salty things. And I have short lived cravings. I have craved watermelon, spicy food, peanut butter (then I went through a period of time where the smell of peanut was not appetizing), and a few other things. I am always thirsty, I can't sleep through the night and I have hormones. Pretty much I think I am right on par with most American women who go through this. I feel much happier since the nausea has calmed down a bit. We go back for our next appointment on April 6. We should hear the heartbeat at that appointment.
Yesterday Buddy started coughing. Hacking more like a goose is a better description. By evening time it was driving us crazy and we knew he really wasn't feeling well, so off to the Animal Emergency Clinic we went. Looks like Buddy has post-nasal drip and the beginning of an upper respiratory infection. So they put him on some antibiotics and some benedryl. He kept us up most of the night coughing. He is quieter this morning. He still coughs once and a while. I feel bad for the little guy. I wanted to give him a bath today, but I think I will wait until he feels better.
Well, I need to go and work on laundry and other things before I go get my hair trimmed today.

I'm Back!
So, yes, the rumors are true. I am pregnant! I am currently 11 weeks. Lots of people have asked how I am. Well, I am good as any pregnant woman could be. I do indeed have morning sickness. Which does include throwing up once and a while. And I am sleepy all the time. The usual stuff that effects pregnant women.
I just got back from Florida last night. Hubby was not able to go due to work and school stuff. I was able to go and enjoy spending time with his family and enjoy the warmth! The service I was able to make on Friday was nice.
Hubby took off for Dallas this morning. He said that it's raining like crazy down there now. They are under a flood watch tonight in fact. He should have rented a boat instead of a car.
So, this news is why I have been almost invisible the last 2 months. It was hard for me to talk to people or write on my blog and not say anything! So, now I am back. I will post when I can. Work does still keep me busy and when I am not there, I am usually at home trying to sleep. But, I will do my best to post more now and keep everyone up to date!

Sad Day
Lots has been going on here. On the 23rd, I went with 2 co-workers to the Bon Jovi concert in Denver. It was awesome! We had a great time and I would gladly see it again!
The following week, Hubby had his first work trip. He went to Arizona to learn how to teach the classes he will start teaching soon. He said the trip was good. He made it there and back safely, so I am happy. It was a long 5 days without him, as Maggie doesn't like to listen to me very much, but we made it through!
We did get sad news tonight. Hubby grandmother in Florida (his mom's mom), passed away this evening. We knew it was coming. She has been in hospice care for a few days, and was in the hospital for a few weeks prior to that. We are looking into trying to get back to Florida for the service.
Well, with that, I am off to bed to get some sleep!
