Not much is new
This weekend we head to Santa Fe on the bike. We are going down with Rick (best man), Esten (groomsmen) and Glenn (groomsmen) and Alexis. Should be fun. The weather is supposed to keep it cool, which will actually be nice. It can get hot wearing lots of black leather! We are leaving at 1pm on Friday and will be home Sunday night.
Then the following Saturday we leave for Disney World! I can't believe it's so close! I am not even ready to go! I have hardly thought about what I need to bring! We are keeping an eye out for hurricanes developing, but right now it looks okay.
BIG congrats going out to The Carter's who closed on their town home yesterday! They are now super happy first time homeowners! That is very exciting and we are very happy for them!
Well, that is about all I have for today!

Fall in Colorado
Well, it's fall in
I also noticed tonight the other huge sign of fall/winter. My skin is getting extremely dry and starting to crack. Meaning it's time to start slathering on the lotion like crazy! Ahhh the DRY
Smoke Alarm Steak
Well, Sunday was a pretty quiet day around our house. We planned on putting another coat of stain on the deck, but the deck was wet from overnight dew in the morning, and was not even close to dry by race time. So, we decided that would have to wait. We checked on the deck later in the day, and it still had some wet patches. The deck doesn't get any sun. So, we will have to try to stain another time.
Anyway, we watched the race (good race). I am on a fantasy racing league with my brother-in-law and for the first time this racing season, I am kicking HIS behind! Most of the season, I wasn't doing so well and he let me know about it, but now, I am in third place. My nephew (
After the race was the Bronco game. I only kind of watched it. We did win (yea)! I also put away 3 loads of laundry. Jeez, I am always doing laundry!
Well, I think when a Fisette heads to
When we moved into the house, we noticed a large hole in the backyard in the grass. Grass had grown in the hole, but for some reason we just had this large sunk in area. It makes for mowing the grass over there tough. So, since we had lots of leftover dirt from the tree planting, we decided to fill the hole and put seed down. So, we did. Well, about an hour later, Buddy came in from outside and his muzzle was covered in dirt. He had unburied the hole for us. Now dirt was all around the hole, and the hole is still there. Due to his digging in dirt habit, I am not sure how we are going to fill that hole and allow grass to grow... This may need some thought.
Later in the evening, Esten came over for dinner. Brian made smoke alarm steaks. This is where he sears the steaks in a cast iron skillet, then puts the steak and skillet in a hot oven and bakes the steaks for a little bit. MMMM, they are so tasty that way. He doesn't make them that often because it's not the easiest to do and also it always sets off the smoke alarm (hence the name of the dish). Later Rick came over and we just hung out and played a game of dominoes, and watched Extreme Makeover, Home Edition. I just love that show!
Well, that was our Sunday. Hope everyone is well!

Hold on, Jeanne's coming!
Well, yesterday was a busy day for me. We got up and I had to pick up our share food. Plus our friend Kori had asked up to pick up her's as well. Before I left to get it, my boss called. We were supposed to hold a training class in
After that, I ran some errands, came home and wrapped some birthday and Baby Shower gifts. Then I drove down to
Suzi's friend Michelle is pregnant and having a baby in November. So, Mom, Suzi and I all went to her shower. Of course this is only across the street from my mom's house. Michelle's dad, Jeff, is the judge that presided over our marriage ceremony with Patty.
After that party was over we went back to mom's house, where Brian had just arrived with the puppies, and we started Suzi's Birthday party. This was the one weekend close to her birthday that we could all get together. But poor Zak had to work, so he wasn't around for the festivities. We had dinner, she opened her gifts and then we ate cake. Around
This morning I awoke to the sound of a hot air balloon. Seems that they get stuck in our little valley here, as this is the second time that I have heard one trying to get out of our little valley by using the blower device. But I stayed in bed for a while after that until the Utilities called for Brian (he is currently on call). So, he had to get up to get on the computer.
It's race day today! Looking forward to it. It will probably be one of the last races I see for about a month, due to our schedules. So, I am really looking forward to it!
Our friends Barbara and John Carter have their walk through on their new town home! Congrats to them! And Happy Birthday to my Aunt Nancy!
My Uncle Walter, and Cousins Barbara and Kyle are currently on vacation down in
Take Care!

New Blog
Well, this is a blog. For those of you who are unfamiliar with what a blog is, it's a web log, or a diary/journal kept on line. I think Brian and I are going to move away from sending out weekly emails and more towards just having a blog. The blog will be here whenever you wish to visit it.
I am just getting started, so I am working on trying to figure it out. I know there is a way that I can make it so others can post messages, and I can add photos and my favorite links and such. Until I figure all that out, it will just look like this for a while.
There is also a place for you to comment back to me if you wish. You should see the little comment right at the end of this post. You can click there and leave me a message if you wish.
Or if you have news you wish for me to add about family members and such, let me know and I will be happy to post it!
Well, this is just the beginning. Enjoy!!
