My how time flies!

Things have been pretty busy around here. I am going to work backwards to see if I can remember everything that has been going on. Today we took Courtney to see her GI specialist. We determined that the next step for her is going to be an upper endoscopy, meaning they are going to sedate her and put a camera down her throat to look at it and see if there is any damage from all the refluxing she is having. We are scheduled to do it September 5th. I am starting to wonder if it is the right thing to do. It was our choice as to whether or not we had it. But I guess I have 2 weeks to cancel it if I really feel strongly about changing my mind.

Susan and Zak came home from their Honeymoon on Tuesday night. We had them up for dinner last night, and then they left to drive home to PA today.

I have been helping out at WnW. Due to reasons I can not go into, they had to fire the entire management staff (3 people, but that’s a lot in a small store). So, this past weekend, I helped fill in the holes in the schedule. I will do it next week and the week after as well, until they get someone in that they can train to open and close the store. It is only temporary that I am back there. While I do love the job, I don’t want to give up my weekends with Hubby and baby, and I don’t want to spend all my time working. I enjoy spending too much time with the baby!

Speaking of which, she woke up with a runny nose this morning. Running like a faucet! So is her mouth. Her specialist took a listen to her and said it’s tough to determine whether it’s a cold or teething.

We got a smoker! It’s a lot like a BBQ grill, but ours uses wood pellets and causes smoke. You can cook things very slowly and it gives it a nice smoky flavor. We have used it a few times, and things come out pretty tasty every time!

SH has been keeping both Hubby and me pretty busy as well. We have picked up lots of jobs and even a new employee. Kate is our new person in charge of sales. She is actually a friend of ours, so Hubby and I were the ones that told her about the opening. She interviewed with all of us, and everyone unanimously agreed to bring her on board. She started this past Monday. I have been working on training her as much as possible.

Maggie graduated her obedience class. I am not sure how. Yes, I am, she is a performer, and she looks great in class. Then you bring her home, and it’s a whole new story. I hope to move on to the next level. The next level is a drop in class to polish what your dog all ready knows. I may do this until the next beginners agility class starts up.

Bristol is doing awesome at agility. He is starting to be less nervous about everything. We were even able to move the teeter-totter up one notch! He is just doing amazing! And I am having fun also!

Courtney is so close to walking. She is starting to take a step without holding on, and that is just today she started doing that! It should only be a matter of time now! And she loves to feed herself still. She eats just about anything. And her specialist told us to go ahead and start her on whole milk or Pedisure today! Jeez, time flies!

Well, I guess I better go put away laundry. I have to do it all again before Hubby leaves next week.
