Progress...

Well, for those of you who have been worrying, fear not, we have made great progress on the nursery. Hubby actually got a coat of primer up on the walls, and a coat of ceiling paint on the ceiling yesterday. We also actually picked the paint colors for the walls too! Hubby is going to get another coat on the ceiling hopefully on Friday. And then we have some help coming over on Saturday to help with the walls.

I am 33 weeks now! And still things are going smooth! (knock on wood). The heartburn has really really kicked in now. It drives me nuts, and I haven't had luck getting rid of it yet. Tums knocks it down for a little bit, but it always comes back with a vengeance. Getting up from sitting positions is getting harder and harder, and sitting on the floor, and then trying to get up is just about next to impossible.

Hubby is on what I really really hope is his last trip before the baby arrives. He landed in Boston this afternoon, before the big Nor'easter is supposed to hit. He is there to attend a class. Hopefully the weather won't be too bad. He only has to make it a mile from his hotel to the class location. And he could do that by walking, taxi or the T. So hopefully one of those methods is available tomorrow, and hopefully they don't cancel the class.

Courtney was complaining of ear pain again this week, and she had just finished her antibiotic. So, to be on the safe side, we took her in to get looked at. She is halfway through getting her last molar in. The doctor attributes the ear pain complaints to the tooth coming in because she the ear was looking pretty good.

I took her down to Nana and Papa's house today. I told her yesterday that we would go down there today. She woke up saying "we go to Nana and Papa's house now?". Between the time I got her up and the time we left the house (only about an hour), she must have asked me 20 times, "we go to Nana and Papa's house now?" And on the way down in the car she asked about 3 times, "are we almost there?". We only stayed a few hours, but she had a great time. She made cookies, finger painted, rode around in her wagon in the backyard, played Playdoh, and just had a blast!

Well, I need to go and find some more Tums. For those of you in New England, I hope you are ready for the storm!!!
