Off we go...

Well, something has flared up in me. At first I thought it was allergies, but now I am thinking it's a sinus infection. Whatever it is, it's here with a vengeance! Yesterday morning my nose started to run and it hasn't stopped since! I have a call into the doctor to see if they can get me on some antibiotics. I hope they can just call a prescription is as I am leaving on Saturday for our bike trip!

I have been working a 9 day stretch in order to be able to go on the bike vacation. So, I am really ready for a break! It should be interesting! I just got my rain suit in the mail the other day. So, now I have my rain suit, should we hit rain. Which I am going to guess that being on a bike for 9 days, we will hit rain somewhere. And when we were in Cripple Creek I got a new leather jacket and vest. I also went to REI and stocked up on long sleeved poly-pro shirts. And in case of cold weather I have my Gerbing Hubby got me for Christmas, which is an electric jacket I can plug into the bike. So, I am ready for any weather. I think.

I am loving my eyes now, after the surgery. I got up in the middle of the night last night to take nyquil and I could see! No fumbling around in the dark for my glasses! It's so odd, I still feel like I wear contacts! I went to the eye doc on Tuesday and I still have 20/20 vision. I tell you, it's the greatest thing ever!

While we are gone, one of my employees will be here at the house with our two dogs and Rick's dog Hershey. Usually my mom watches the dogs when we are out of town, but she is heading off to Ireland the same day we head off towards Yellowstone.

Well, I need to get things done today! We have our closing on our re-finance of the house tomorrow afternoon and then tomorrow evening, we will pack up. So, I am off! I don't think I will post until after we get back, so I will talk to you all in a week.

But before I go, I have to share. Bristol loves to play with toys. Bristol also loves to drink water. And sometimes he gets so wrapped up in playing with a toy and gets so out of breath that he decided he needs a drink of water. Usually this happens at the same time. The result is that whatever toy he is playing with gets dropped into the water dish. He just did it again, as he just gave me a sopping wet fleece ball to throw for him. Of course I didn't know before he gave it to me that it was sopping wet, but it's gross to suddenly have a wet pile of mush in your hand. I have seen him do this so many times, and it's funny every single time he does it!
