So, several people have asked us to come up with what we would like for Christmas. That's tough!
Wife says:
Pretty much I really don't want anything. But if you still insist on getting me gifts, here are some suggestions.
Donate to a charity related to dogs (rescue groups, humane society, spca) for me and send me a card letting me know you did so.
I always enjoy dog books. My collection is starting to get too large to list of ones I all ready have, so I will just say that both Barnes and Nobel and Boarders are very close by. (gift certificates always appreciated)
I have also really taken a liking to the store REI. They have some pretty neat stuff there.
Now that I have 2 dogs that need lots of training, simple cash is always a nice gift, as I am really looking forward to getting them both trained as therapy dogs. And all that training is not going to be cheap!
I would ask that folks avoid knick-knack stuff, as we have lots of it all ready. I have too many clothes I can't wear all ready due to I have to wear my work shirts and jeans 5 days a week. All though a gift certificate to Ann Taylor or Banana Republic would be nice.
And as a standard, I love lotions and shower gels from Bath and Body Works. And Macintosh is still my favorite Yankee candle scent!
Hubby says:
He doesn't think he needs much either, except someone to do all his homework. If you
can give that as a gift, it would be much appreciated.
But, he always is buying books off Amazon. So an Amazon gift certificate or Boarders or Barnes & Nobel as well.
Of course he is a cooking/grill master. So, any neat gadgets, sauces, recipes, cookbooks, etc... He enjoys making lots of recipes off Food TV. Alton Brown is his favorite guy to watch.
And always cheap Hawaiian shirts that are pretty ugly are good. Notice I said cheap, the cheaper the better. He wears an XL.
Otherwise cash to pay for school, to add to our savings for mountain property someday, or to buy Jeep Gear with would always be much appreciated as well!
