More Vegas and dog news....

Sunday morning we got up and had breakfast and after checking our luggage in with the bell hop and checking out of the Flamingo, we headed off to walk around Caesar's Forum. We did a little shopping, and spent a little bit of money. We finally went and picked up our luggage and headed for the airport.

We boarded our plane early and everyone was sitting on the plane. We sat there for quite some time. Finally they came on the speaker and asked if anyone was willing to get off the plane in trade for dinner, breakfast and lunch, as well as a free hotel stay and a $350 travel voucher. We went ahead and volunteered for that!! So, off the plane we went and after spending another hour and a half at the airport, we headed off to our new hotel. This one was not as nice as the Flamingo, but it was across the street from the Hard Rock hotel and casino.

I made a call and we were able to get Penn and Teller tickets for the show that night. Hubby had to do some homework, and a little bit of work, but finally we headed off to the Rio hotel for dinner and the show. Penn and Teller were fabulous! The show was great, we both enjoyed it. We had somehow managed to receive 3rd row center tickets.

After the show, Penn and Teller were in the lobby signing autographs and taking pictures! Here is us with Penn, and then Teller!!

After the wonderful show and then breakfast at the Hard Rock, we finally got on our plane and came home. Here's a nice picture of us at the Flamingo.

So, it was back to work for both of us on Tuesday. The next round of Hubby's classes started up and things are picking up at work due to the holiday's. We still had Maggie and their was an adoption fair rapidly approaching on Saturday. Friday night we made the decision that we just couldn't let her go. So, on Saturday at the adoption fair, I did the paperwork and she is now officially ours!

Well, I am off to work on our Christmas wish list, hopefully I will post it tomorrow!! And a shout out to Dad K and Barbara C. who recently had birthdays!!
