After a nice buffet breakfast, we hit the casino for a craps lesson at 11am. That was very interesting and we learned a little bit more about the game! So, after the hour long lesson we tried putting to use what we had learned. Of course we didn't walk away from the table richer. However, we did walk away a few hours later to head to the spa to get a couples massage.
After that we headed over to Caesar's Palace. We had dinner reservations at the Mesa Grill, which is Bobby Flay's restaurant The food was fabulous. I had a goat cheese queso dip prior to dinner and Hubby had a tuna something appetizer. For dinner I had a grilled Ahi tuna steak, Hubby had some sort of lamb. It was so tasty. Then for dessert we had this amazing chocolate cake thing. It was melt in your mouth, you can't believe it really tastes that good, good! After the amazing dinner we walked around Caesar's a bit more and then headed back to the hotel as it was pretty late by then.
Saturday we got up, and after yet another yummy breakfast buffet, we headed up the strip. Our first stop was New York New York. We picked up our tickets for the show that night and then we rode the roller coaster on the outside! Here is what New York New York looks like:
After that fun stuff, we headed over to check out MGM and the lions inside! And then a trip down to the M&M store. From there we walked down to Paris, and we took a trip up the Eiffel tower, what a sight to see! The tower in Vegas is only ½ the size of the real one. They were not able to build it to the height of the real one, due to the fact the airport is so close.
For dinner we went to the buffet at the Bellagio. What a buffet it is! The carving stations consisted of Kobe beef, buffalo roast, prime rib, lamb, and a few type of fancy turkeys. They also had sushi and crab legs and the most amazing dessert area! I made several trips through the buffet. From there we went down to New York New York to watch Cirque du Soleil's Zumanity. Very interesting show.
More about the rest of the trip later!
