36 & 3/7

Well, still here in the hospital, of course. Today we are 36 & 3/7ths weeks. ALMOST full term, it’s on the horizon. We are having rougher and rougher nights. Each evening I start having stronger and stronger contractions. Last night they were in my back also. So, they checked me and I am 1cm dilated. But of course, that could stay that way until they induce me. I am getting frustrated with having such strong contractions every night. They don’t hurt but they aren’t fun either. And since there is nothing coming from them, I am just not happy that they keep happening. Last night was the roughest evening yet, and we thought ‘MAYBE’, but no, they gave me a shot to help with the contractions that weren’t doing anything and then a sleeping pill and all calmed down.

I think I forgot to mention something last week. You will never believe who came to see me last Friday. Bart, the cat from Wag N Wash. Yes, a cat. Christine from the store brought him in, in a carrier. He plopped down right on my pillow and crashed out. He was so cute and it was so good to see him. He is a very well behaved cat, unlike his sister Lisa who can be a real brat. So, she didn’t come to visit.

Well, my lunch should be arriving any moment, so I am going to end this here. I will update again in a few days! If I disappear, then maybe the contractions finally caused something to happen!
