Almost There

I am still hanging in there! At least there is an end in sight! Hopefully by this time next week we will be proud parents, and then on our way home. We shall have to see!

My friend who just had her baby girl last week, came to see me yesterday. I got to hold her baby girl for the first time. Hubby and I had gone upstairs and saw her while they were here in the hospital, but I didn’t hold her during that time. So, yesterday I got to hold her. It was great, she is so small! And is she cute!

I have had visitors just about daily. The visitors have been great! It sure makes the time go by! And it’s great to see family and friends. It’s very hard for me, a very social person, to sit here in my room alone most of the day. But I have gotten excellent at watching TV. And most of the visitors have brought food, which I also GREATLY appreciate! So, thank you to all of you who have stopped by, and also to those of you who have brought food!

Speaking of visitors, we have appreciated all of you visiting, but we are asking that starting with Sunday, we have no more visitors until the baby arrives. We want to get plenty of rest for the events of next week.

Well, I am awaiting the arrival of my breakfast tray, and I am going to check my email. I don’t know that I will update this again for awhile, maybe Saturday, but who knows. If I don’t update this for awhile, please forgive me! And hope all of you are well!
