1 month old

Grammie has arrived! Courtney’s Grammie came to visit her all the way from Virginia, and they are both loving every minute of it! Courtney went with us to the airport to pick her up and I think Courtney succeeded in wrapping Grammie around her finger from the moment she saw her! Right now Grammie is holding her and feeding her a bottle.

We went to the doctor yesterday for her 1 month visit. She weighed in at 7 lbs, 9.5 oz. The doctor was happy with that weight. The doctor also put her on a new formula because Courtney is having a lot of issues with gas and spit up still. So, we are trying a new formula that is very basic.

Two nights ago we had a very rough night. Courtney didn’t want to sleep unless someone was holding her. So, Hubby took the first part of the night and I took the second part of the night. We assume it’s because her little tummy hurt. It’s hard to figure out if it’s gas or acid reflux or milk allergy. The next night we got a 6 hour stretch of sleep! We couldn’t believe it; we had to keep checking her to make sure she was okay!

Last night was pretty good; she slept from 12am-2:30am and then 3am-6am then 6:45am-7:30am. It’s not long stretches but the important thing is that she slept!

We are going to get pictures taken today. Courtney’s 1 month old pictures! I can’t believe she has been here a whole month all ready. And she has grown and changed so much all ready! Yes, she has me wrapped around her finger as well. We are all doomed; she is going to run the universe.

Well, I must go finish getting ready for pictures.
