Courtney's Grammy went home

Well, we have been busy here! Friday all of us went to a restaurant here in town called the Steaksmith. They have been around forever and have GREAT steaks. It was very tasty! All of us being Hubby, Courtney, Grammy, Nana, Grandpa, and I.

Saturday we had a pretty quiet day at home. I don’t really think we did anything to exciting that day.

Sunday we took Courtney to the mall, her Grammy and I. We taught Courtney how to shop like one of the girls. And then we ate at Ruby Tuesdays to finish the night. We had fun, especially since Hubby had left early that morning for Indiana.

Monday we went out to lunch with some friends of Grammy who still live in the area. The couple we went out to lunch with has a son who is a little older than me that Grammy used to baby-sit when he was young. She really enjoyed seeing him!

Courtney’s Grammy went home to Virginia early Tuesday morning. Courtney and I took her to the airport, since Hubby was not here. We really enjoyed having her here. Courtney would always quiet down when Grammy held her. Grammy is coming back to visit next month for Thanksgiving and she is going to bring Granddad as well!

I ended up taking Courtney to the doctors again on Tuesday afternoon. She had been having some blood in her stool. They ran some tests and the doctor called early this morning. She referred us to a Pediatric GI specialist. So, Courtney went this afternoon to see a new doctor, the specialist. He is pretty convinced that she has a pretty sever allergy to some sort of food. We don’t know if it’s dairy, soy, wheat, egg, or nut. So, she is on a very hyper-allergenic formula for the next two weeks. We will go back in two weeks to see if she has improved.

Well, that’s all for now, as Courtney is wanting to be held! Hope everyone is well!
