walking down memory lane

So, the dog’s run was finished on Tuesday. They sure were not happy about it. It took Bristol an hour to pee on the rocks. And he saved his poop for when I let them out onto the grass to play ball the next day! I am not sure he has pooped since, I think he is waiting for another trip to the grass.

The baby cut her 4th tooth on Monday. Monday morning Hubby and I saw it, but it wasn’t through the gum yet. But that afternoon, on the way home from day care, she put my finger in her mouth, and guess what, there it was!

On the 4th we had a quiet day. In the afternoon we went over to Kelly’s mom’s house. Tony’s parents were in town, so we had a small bbq. We put the two babies in the grass together. Our baby just isn’t used to grass, so she was trying very hard to keep her legs off the ground while sitting. She was only successful at holding one off the ground at a time. It had us all in stitches! We took pictures, but it probably just won’t be the same as being there. We will try to get those up soon.

We didn’t stay there long as the baby wishes to be in bed asleep no later than 8pm. So, around 7pm we headed for home so she could have a bath before heading to bed.

Today was another hot day. Our office is on the 3rd floor (of a 3 story building) so it’s hard for us to keep our offices cool. Plus they are south facing so they get sun all day long. Another reason we are looking forward to moving our office. The new place is ground level, with no other floors, and not really south facing. It will have a lot more windows, so hopefully it will stay cooler. My office has a whole wall of windows! I am really looking forward to that! My current office has no windows at all. We are planning to move probably at the end of September.

Speaking of looking forward, my sister and Zak should be here in about 2 weeks. I am really looking forward to that! I love it when they are here. It may be a little crazy due to wedding plans, but I always enjoy seeing them.

I have spent the evening tonight looking at pictures of the baby, especially her first pictures. I think I could look at them 1000 times. And every time they make my heart melt! I am so lucky to have her! It’s so hard to remember her being that small!

Well, it’s bed time!
